Associate Director of Development

Kim Craig is responsible for individual donor management and all related fundraising activities including the annual event Arts Jam, biannual appeals, and supporter relationship cultivation and engagement. While collaborating across departments, Kim plans and executes fundraising campaigns both digital and direct, event planning, including ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, mobile-based silent and online auctions, as well as friend-raising events, all while striving to engage individuals in the work and mission of The Center for Arts Education at all levels and varieties of support.

Kim came to CAE in 2014 after completing her MBA in Marketing at Fairfield University. She holds a B.A. from The University of Virginia in Rhetoric and Communications. As a graduate of the Maryland K-12 public school system, Kim was the beneficiary of an arts rich education, something which she believes all children should have the opportunity to experience. While raising her children in Fairfield, CT, Kim ran the Art in the Classroom program, a PTA in-school art appreciation program, at Riverfield Elementary School. She also is a graduate of the Alternate Route to Certification program for teaching in the state of CT.
